The Belgian soprano Ilse Eerens is praised for her luminous voice, musical sensitivity and versatility and can look back on an international opera and concert career with a repertoire ranging from Bach to works of the 21st century.

Ms Eerens has worked with conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Riccardo Muti, Hartmut Haenchen, Lorenzo Viotti, Kazushi Ono and Philippe Herreweghe as well as ensembles such as the Orchestre National de Radio France, Orquesta y Coro Nacional d'España, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the MDR Symphony Orchestra, the Rotterdam and Brussels Philharmonics and the Orchestra of the 18th Century, to name but a few.

Ilse Eerens is a regular guest at La Monnaie in Brussels in roles such as Pamina/Die Zauberflöte and Sophie/Der Rosenkavalier. She has also appeared at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Theater an der Wien, the Opéra de Lyon, the Opera de Lille, the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Adelaide Music Festival, the Salzburg Festival and the Bregenz Festival
